As the days grow shorter and shorter, it may seem slightly depressing for some. But at nomad, we believe our shop always looks best through the autumn and winter months. The shop begins to fill out with sweatshirts, thicker button-ups, jackets, wool products and generally cosier items. We are excited to welcome back the brands that excel during the colder months.
Cotopaxi continues to blow us away with their exciting outerwear, this season focusing on shades of orange, darker blues and greys. Expect quality across their range of down-filled jackets, lightweight waterproofs and windbreakers. We have also restocked from their rucksack and luggage range, including the Allpa packs and the new Dopp Kit bags.
Carhartt return with a range of well-known staples, particularly when the temperatures drop. Chore coats, work jackets, work vests and a selection of high-quality tees. For a company with roots in Detroit, they know how vital a robust, well-made jacket is for active people during colder months.
Filson were relatively quiet here at nomad during spring/summer, but they return with a bang as winter approaches. Staying true to their roots, the heritage workwear brand brings back their iconic waffle knit long sleeve, down-filled body warmers, and in the next few months, we shall see the return of the iconic Mackinaw Wool items. With a legacy of over 100 years, you can't go wrong with the 'unfailing goods'.
We feel that two honourable mentions should be made to both Edwin and Portuguese Flannel, who have really stepped it up this Autumn/Winter. Edwin have introduced a range of eco-yarn sweaters made from a high-quality Italian wool blend that look and feel great. Portuguese Flannel have returned with some thicker button-up shirts in brushed flannel and corduroy. Perfect for deflecting the wind on cold, breezy days.
